On Monday Nov 13, our school celebrated Veterans Day with our School Wide Assembly.
Girl Scout Troop 41594 presented the flags and led our school in the Pledge of Allegiance. Then we had our fifth grade presenters teach our school about why we celebrate and what armed forces our veterans come from. Afterwards, we got to listen to an amazing story, Heroes in Our Neighborhood by Valerie Pfundstein and listen to our talented second and third grade students sing Everyday Heroes by Teresa Jennings.
We our so proud of our student presenters and helping us celebrate and honor Veterans Day.
