Family Fun and Learning at Discovery’s STEAM Night

All Discovery families were invited to join us for an evening of hands-on family activities and live demonstrations at our STEAM Night.
We had community participation with Eastside Fire & Rescue, Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, & Sammamish Plateau Sewer & Water District. Students from Beaver Lake Middle school presented Robotics which the students enjoyed. Many of our Discovery teachers participated as well.
Our Librarian, Mrs. Gage read stories, and Mrs. Kruse enjoyed sharing instruments with our students. Mrs. Peterson presented the coding Bee Bots and Mrs. White shared art activities.
It was a very fun evening for our students and their families. We thank everyone who made this possible especially our PTSA.
