Principal's Message - October 30th

Message From

As we wrap up October, I want to take a moment to celebrate the support of our PTSA and families during our Fall Fundraiser. Your generosity directly impacts our students every day by funding resources and experiences that help them to learn and grow. Thanks to the PTSA, our kindergarteners are enjoying new books, second graders are engaging in math extension activities, and our robotics program is expanding with new materials. The PTSA truly helps fill the gap between what schools are funded for and what’s needed to help every student succeed. The fundraiser will run through the end of next week, so it is not too late to contribute. Thank you for being such strong partners in learning!

Tomorrow is You Be You Day! Students are encouraged to wear what makes them them, whether that’s a favorite outfit, a sports uniform, cozy pajamas, or their everyday clothes. Costumes are welcome too, as long as they align with our Discovery expectations of being safe, kind, and responsible (no masks, weapons, or scary themes, please). We can’t wait to celebrate the creativity and individuality of our students!

Looking ahead, family conferences are coming up in November. These are connection meetings designed to strengthen our partnership between home and school. Conferences are a time to thoughtfully engage around your child’s learning, share insights, and set goals together. We deeply value hearing your perspectives and look forward to these conversations.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Mrs. Pearson
