It’s been another great week of learning and connection at Discovery! It was fantastic seeing all of the orange flooding the school for Unity Day yesterday. Our students completed a chain of kindness, hanging proudly in our hallway.
This weekend, our BOOgie Bash is taking place and you’re invited! We’re also continuing our PTSA Fall Fundraiser and are so thankful for the incredible generosity and support from our families so far. Every donation helps us enhance the learning experience for our students.
This week, one highlight is that I had the opportunity to join some of our fifth graders for their social studies presentations. I was truly amazed by the level of thought, research, and confidence they displayed. Finally, next week we will celebrate You Be You Day on the 31st. Students are invited to wear school appropriate outfits (no masks or weapons please) and share something that represents them or what they like. We look forward to a great day!
